The driving part was fine with girls, who, and mostly Kiki, would be perfectly happy just to sit in the car, not to be encouraged to step out and maybe walk a little.
The admiring views part was a little tricky, since there was a lot of misty fog lying around for most of the day. But if someone hoped for less traffic due to the weather, well, think again! There were more like us; those hoping for more space and empty parking lots.
Nevertheless the waves were magnificent, regardless if it was foggy or sunny or crowded; just what one expects in Acadia!
