A little bit of skiing

I am about four weeks behind on that post.
We did get away for a little bit of skiing during very warm  spring winter vacation.
The temperature reached almost seventy, but there was enough snow to keep the kids going.
Nobody complained of being cold!
I chaperoned, who ever needed chaperoning or other kinds of assisting.
The only thing I regret about this winter is the fact that I didn't have a chance to have a good XC run at Pulaski park :(

In search of spring

With my camera around my neck, I have set out to look for the signs of spring. The time was right, it was the first day of spring, quite sunny, not too cold. Well, there weren't many ( signs ), which did not surprise me much. A wave of cold air decided to take over the March in Rhode Island. One can't do nothing about it but hope and wait patiently :)

Not very impressive signs of spring in my backyard :(

Yarn Along

I have finished my owl basket. In eyes of many it might look imperfect but I think it came out very cute; and my kids agree with me. I can fit in it many important things :)
I have started reading " The dance of the dissident daughter " by Sue Monk Kidd. I haven't gotten too far in it yet, but I know I won't be disappointed!

Joining Ginny.
