The Gaudete weekend

We had a wonderful weekend!

The weather is so delightful ( maybe except today ), that one would like to spend those winter days outside in the sweatshirt the most. It clearly helped in taking family Christmas pictures since the cold did not bother us.
Getting everybody smiling at the same time, that's a different story:)

Saturday had us busy with pictures, making St. Lucia bread and Christmas choir party in the evening.

It was the first time that we left kids alone in the evening with Kiki putting Kubus to bed.
They surprised us greatly. I need to give them more credit that I usually do. And of course take advantage of that too.

In the morning of St. Lucia day, our St. Lucia had a hard time to wake everybody up even at 8 o'clock!
We had our breakfast of hot cocoa, coffee and sweet bread in pajamas on the our bedroom rug.

We put the decorations up as we usually do on Gaudete Sunday and continued with advent readings. Christmas is only ten days away:)

A sneak peak from picture session; trying to make everybody cooperate!
